In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Class services including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience. **About the Role** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support day to day mechanical maintenance operations within the Ebara Elliott Energy facility. This role focuses on hands on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of mechanical systems, including conveyor systems, rotating equipment, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other production supporting machinery. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and ensuring reliable facility operations. **What You'll Do** - Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on facility equipment, including conveyor systems, rotating machinery, motors, gearboxes, belts, bearings, and pumps. - Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life. - Diagnose mechanical failures using drawings, manuals, schematics, and test instruments. - Complete repairs involving alignment, welding, fabrication, assembly/disassembly, lubrication, part replacement, and equipment adjustments. - Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and systems. - Inspect machinery for wear, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. - Respond to work orders and document all maintenance activity through the CMMS. - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment and adhere to all safety procedures and policies. - Collaborate with facility leadership to identify improvement opportunities, reliability risks, and equipment upgrade needs. **What You'll Need** - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. - High School Diploma, GED, or relevant trade/technical certification. - 2+ years of mechanical maintenance or industrial mechanic experience-experience with conveyors, rotating equipment, or similar machinery strongly preferred. - Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and perform repairs with limited supervision. - Experience using hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and mechanical test equipment. - Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ pounds, climbing ladders, standing for long periods, and working in industrial environments. - Basic computer skills for documenting work orders (CMMS experience preferred). - Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment settings. - Welding, fabrication, or machining experience. - Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems. - Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO), OSHA safety requirements, and mechanical PM programs. **Why CBRE** When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive. Pay Disclaimer: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $25.00/hr. and the maximum salary for this position is $35.00/hr. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
