Job #:  147374 Title:  Fabricator Location:  New Orleans, LA Salary Range:  28.05 Position:  Fabricator Description:  Perform fabrication, mechanical, and electrical assembly tasks supporting manufacturing and test operations. Support machining setup, wiring, avionics assembly, and preparation of test articles. Work hands-on with tools and equipment while completing on-the-job training to support production and testing requirements. Requirements:  #Job Details*Facility Type: Manufacturing*Aircraft Worked: Space Launch System (SLS) Rocket*Job Duration: Contract - 6 Months*Schedule: All Shifts*Tools: Required *Pay Rate: Up to $39.27/hour#Education & Job Requirements*High School Diploma or GED*A minimum of 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience*Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical methods with a technical background*Weld experience, including friction stir welding experience*Hands-on experience working with tools, machines, wires, and adhesives*Experience performing basic electrical tasks, including wire stripping, repinning, working with shielded wires, and using torque wrenches and power screwdrivers*Experience performing mechanical tasks, including drilling through hardware, installing brackets, and using drill guns*Technical aptitude with the ability to adapt, remain flexible, and learn new processes*Willingness to complete required training lasting up to 3 to 4 weeks, depending on experience level*US Person required *Availability to work overtime and weekends as required#Preferred Skills*Experience supporting manufacturing test operations *Crane certification if applicable to assigned duties#Job Duties & Functions*Perform machine setup, machining, wiring, and electrical setup and checks*Assemble, repair, modify, and install wire harnesses and avionics products*Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to support testing activities*Perform mechanical and electrical preparation tasks and verification*Use power drills, adhesives, wrenches, and other hand and power tools safely and effectively*Support electrical fabrication tasks, including harness work and hardware installation*Support mechanical fabrication tasks, including drilling and structural component installation*Participate in on-the-job training within assigned work areas *Comply with safety, quality, and operational procedures#Physical Requirements & Environment*Ability to lift up to 15 pounds*Ability to wear safety glasses and required personal protective equipment*Ability to meet mask or respirator requirements as determined by the assigned work area*Ability to qualify to wear a fall protection harness with a 350-pound weight restriction *Ability to complete required eye examinations for electrical fabrication roles#TeamGlobal Benefits*Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), and more!*TG Rewards Program *Employee Referral Program Job Type:  Temporary Post Date:  02/25/2026
