Electrical Technician

The OpportunityInCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician I to support the service and maintenance needs of our customers. This role is based out of the Bellflower, CA and reports to the Service Manager. The Electrical Technician will support field operations through hands-on electrical work, including conduit installation, wiring, troubleshooting charging infrastructure, and performing scheduled maintenance. This position requires significant regional travel and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering timely, professional, and customer-centered field support.What You'll DoPerform hands-on electrical work, including running conduit, pulling wire, and making 120V terminationsInstall fixtures, outlets, switches, and related componentsReplace receptacles, switches, ballasts, drivers, and lampsDiagnose and troubleshoot basic 120V electrical circuitsAssist with electrical panel work, including installing breakers, labeling circuits, and understanding load balancingUse hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments (multimeters, clamp meters) safely and effectivelySupport installation, repair, and maintenance of EV charging infrastructureMaintain safety standards and follow all job-site protocolsRepresent InCharge Energy at client sites with professionalism and strong customer serviceYour Experience and Capabilities2+ years of electrical construction experience in commercial or industrial environmentsActive electrical trainee cardOSHA 10 certification required (or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire)Associate's degree or higher in an applicable technical field preferredASE or other relevant technical certifications a plusCommercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain is highly desirableStrong communication skills and comfort working in client-facing environmentsFamiliarity with Procore or similar project management software is a plusAbility to travel regionally approximately 50-75%US Hourly Range$28-$32 USDWhat We OfferFull-time employees enjoy competitive compensation and benefits package including 401(k) matching contribution, health, dental, and vision, cell phone reimbursement (for most positions), generous vacation and paid sick leave, office meals and snacks, team building events and activities throughout the year.
