Staff Accountant

Description Our team is currently looking for a Staff Accountant with at least one year of accounting experience or a related background. This position requires strong familiarity with accounts payable (AP), bank reconciliations, debits and credits, and journal entry preparation. Key Responsibilities: + Manage ledger reconciliations and oversee accounts payable and receivable functions. + Perform regular and thorough bank reconciliations, as well as reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. + Prepare accurate journal entries to record business transactions. + Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations. + Organize and maintain comprehensive financial records. + Assist in developing internal control policies, procedures, and support financial planning initiatives. + Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve department objectives. + Support company tax compliance efforts and contribute to tax planning strategies. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field. + Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). + Expertise in accounts payable processes, bank reconciliations, debits/credits, and journal entries. + Prior experience using accounting software. + Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to effectively manage multiple projects. + Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
