For more information, visit Vectra is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support our rapidly growing user base and corporate IT infrastructure. This role reports directly to the Director of IT Security and is based out of our Austin, TX office. The position operates in a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week on-site, with the flexibility to work up to five (5) days on-site as needed to support onsite events, critical business needs, or operational requirements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting both in-office and remote employees.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to employees in both on-site and remote (hybrid) environmentsTroubleshoot hardware, software, VPN, and access-related issues (existing groups and roles) in a hybrid-cloud environmentDeploy and support a mix of Windows and macOS workstations for both local and remote usersProcure IT equipment and maintain vendor relationshipsMaintain and expand the knowledge base to help reduce common support requestsManage hardware and software inventory across locationsSupport video conferencing and VoIP solutionsAssist with co-location and office data center operationsContribute to IT projects that deliver measurable value to the businessProvide support for the Atlassian suite of toolsConfigure SSO and onboard new servicesCreate and manage roles and groups in JiraRequirementsUniversity degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience supporting Windows and macOS workstations3+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365Strong written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with enterprise MDM solutionsExperience supporting Atlassian productsOur competitive total rewards package includes cash compensation within the range provided below. Actual pay for this position may vary based on the hired candidate's location, experience and relevant incumbent pay position.
