Between our highly-anticipated events and Clayton collaborators bringing their individual brands of creativity to the Clayton experience, you're always in good company here.The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for assisting the restaurant General Manager with supervising team members, managing payroll and restaurant operations.Requested TasksAssist the General Manager, Executive Chef, and other culinary leaders in ensuring that service is run responsibly and professionally; meeting and exceeding all guest experience Assist with managing the Front and Back of House team members; ensuring coverage, presence and professionalism Demonstrate and uphold all expectations for service standards that are to be followed by all team members Demonstrate and uphold company time and attendance policies Demonstrate and uphold all appearance standards for your experience, including appropriate uniform items are worn and are clean and wrinkle-free, and that proper hygiene and grooming standards are met during each shift, for all team members Assist guests with requests, complaints and any issues that may arise Assist in managing invoices and forecasting/budgeting as needed Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of house team members Prepare team members' schedules Process payroll Assist with New Hire training on a necessary Monitor compliance with service standards and uniform requirements Adhere to safety guidelines Ensure that the restaurant is presentable, tidy and up to safety code standards Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles Additional duties and assignments as assigned Requested CapabilitiesPrior experience in restaurant management is requiredPrior team leadership requiredProfessional, personable and courteous personalityAttention to detail; highly organizedAble to work in a fast-paced environment; able to pivot in between multiple assignments effectivelyRequired to stand; walk; be able to use hands to assist in serving, clearing and cleaning as neededAble to bend and kneelMust be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 poundsAdhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures as defined As part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.
