Stationary Engineer

In support of their needs, we are looking for an Stationary Engineer.Job Description:Job Title: Stationary Engineer Job Type: Contract Job Location: Marina del Rey, CA Work Schedule: On-site Pay Rate: $50/hour, Based on experienceMultiple Shifts Available Days/Weekends (7:00AM-7:00PM) Evenings/Weekends (7:00PM-7:00AM) Variable Shift/Weekends (Day & Night Rotation) Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Vocational/Technical diploma in Stationary Engineering Minimum 2 years' experience as an apprentice or journey-level Stationary Engineer Experience in hospital, healthcare, or complex facility environment Steam Engineer license (500 HP or greater) EPA Universal Certification (refrigerants) Los Angeles Unlimited Steam Engineer License Preferred: Lead, foreman, or supervisory experience Position Details: Onsite role Rotating schedule with required weekend availability Multiple shift options available (day, night, or rotating) Supports plant maintenance and central utility systems Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, generators, and plant equipment Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems Monitor building automation and HVAC systems Respond to alarms, failures, and urgent maintenance needs Maintain logs and ensure regulatory compliance About Maxonic: Since 2002 Maxonic has been at the forefront of connecting candidate strengths to client challenges.
