Local Content Creator & Coordinator - Nashville

Location: Nashville, TNCompensation: $50/hour (contract), 30 hours/weekTeam: Marketing / SocialReports to: Director of MarketingApartment List is looking for a Nashville-based creator to build a strong local presence in one of the country's fastest-growing cities.This role is equal parts content creator, city guide, and social media builder. You'll be the face of our Nashville social channels, creating content that helps renters explore neighborhoods, discover apartments, and understand what it's really like to live in the city.You'll stand up and run Apartment List's Nashville Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook accounts, create local content about renting and city life, and collaborate with influencers and our national social team to grow awareness in the market.If you love Nashville, enjoy being on camera, and are excited about building a social presence from the ground up, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoCreate local social contentYou'll be responsible for producing content that brings Nashville's neighborhoods and rental lifestyle to life.This includes:Filming and producing short-form video for TikTok and InstagramHighlighting available apartments and neighborhood walkthroughsCreating content about renting in Nashville, local housing trends, and renter tipsShowing the lifestyle and culture that make Nashville uniqueBe the face of our Nashville channelsYou'll appear on camera regularly and help audiences connect with Apartment List through a relatable local voice.This includes:Hosting tours and walkthroughsInterviewing renters or property teamsSharing local insights about neighborhoods and living in NashvilleGrow our local social presenceYou'll experiment with different types of content and track what resonates with renters in Nashville.Your success will be measured by:Video viewsAudience engagementFollower growthTraffic driven to Apartment ListPartner with local creators and influencersYou'll help identify and collaborate with Nashville creators who can help expand our reach.Responsibilities include:Identifying local influencers and creatorsHelping shape content concepts for collaborationsCoordinating content with Apartment List's teamWe provide a monthly influencer and promotion budget to help amplify content.Collaborate with the national social teamYou'll work closely with Apartment List's national social media team to share insights and align on brand strategy.This includes:Attending weekly social team meetingsRepurposing national content for a Nashville audienceSharing learnings about what works locallyWhat Success Looks LikeIn this role, you'll help us build a recognizable Apartment List presence in Nashville.Success means:Growing engaged local audiences on social platformsCreating content that renters find helpful and entertainingDriving traffic from social media to Apartment ListBuilding relationships with local creators and communitiesWho You AreYou're a creator who loves Nashville and understands the city's neighborhoods, culture, and rental market.You're comfortable on camera and excited to experiment with content ideas that resonate with renters.RequirementsMust currently live in NashvilleAt least 2 years of experience creating social media contentComfortable appearing on cameraStrong video editing and storytelling skillsDeep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video trendsOrganized and able to manage a content calendar independentlyPassion for city living, neighborhoods, and housingBonus if you haveExperience growing a social account or local brand presenceExperience collaborating with influencersKnowledge of Nashville neighborhoods and housing trendsTo apply:Please include a link to a portfolio that showcases your social media content
