The Material Handler position supports warehouse activities to ensure timely support of the manufacturing process in a safe and respectful manner. Specific tasks may vary for different work assignments.Responsibilities:Operate equipment such as but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, turret truck, and pallet rider to complete tasks such as but not limited to, loading and unloading trucks, stock racking based on production needs, supplying assembly lines with purchased parts, moving finished goods, unloading steelComplete receiving transactions for incoming materials using Inventory Management SoftwarePlace and pull materials and supplies from proper locations up to 20 feet in heightComplete assembly requests for materialsComplete service and product visibility requestsComplete transactions for all materials with the RF Scanner to ensure inventory accuracyWork with team to ensure inventory accuracyInspect the equipment to ensure safe working conditionTrain employees on procedures and techniquesHousekeeping and workstation organization tasksOther duties as assignedThis position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended.
