Production Specialist / Architectural Drafter

Detail-oriented and focused Architectural Production Specialist who will be responsible for construction documentation and detailing for high-end custom residential homes. Production Specialists are involved in all phases of a project including programming, schematic design, design development and construction documentation, so a high level of collaboration and communication are essential. Success in this position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience using Autodesk Revit and the desire to learn and further develop architectural skills and knowledgeThe Production Specialist I must ensure the following:Work closely with the Project Design Managers, Project Managers, and other support teams to prepare design deliverables such as Construction Documents and specifications.Production of high-quality Design and Construction Deliverables utilizing REVITMaintain production documentations and the Revit model using company standardsSynthesize design concepts from SketchUp & ACAD into REVITSupport internal design team with the production and coordination of DeliverablesMust be able to meet deadlines, communicate with the team and maintain excellent documentationAssist In the preparation of client facing presentation filesAssist project team w/ construction administrative tasks; RFI's, Permit Revisions, etc.Assist with all other project related duties as neededRequirements Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite productsResidential architectural design experience in an architectural or hands-on homebuilding/construction setting preferredBachelor or Associate Degree in related field preferred but not requiredGeneral construction knowledge to understand construction process, terminology and codes preferredPermit experience and knowledge of local building codes preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to take direction, meet timelines and work on a multiple projects at one timeAbility to complete tasks and projects on time with accuracy and detailStrong work ethic with high level of integrity both in and out of workReliable transportation
