Position Overview: Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and eager to make a significant impact? We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Wireless Communication Systems Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing top-notch system product support for our mission-critical LGS wireless communication product portfolio and third-party vendor equipment. Responsibilities: * Technical Support: Deliver expert maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and upgrades for our advanced wireless communication systems. * Systems Analysis: Conduct integration and systems analysis, and repair and update both internal and field-returned systems. * Customer Support: Assist in customer and TSC-level analysis and repair procedures for LGS wireless systems. * Field Trials: Participate in LGS and end-user field trials, providing essential technical support and repairs. * R&D Collaboration: Support the research and development and manufacturing processes of LGS Innovations programs and projects. * Equipment Management: Utilize Government Property Management (GPM) systems to efficiently accept, ship, and track all equipment. * Test Setups: Collaborate with design and test engineers to identify and set up equipment for testing and characterization. * Laboratory Maintenance: Assemble and modify test sets, design test fixtures, and maintain laboratory equipment. * Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to meet new equipment needs. * Administrative Tasks: Perform necessary administrative duties to support team operations. * Interpersonal Skills: Directly interface with technical staff, management, and customer personnel. * Travel: Visit other LGS locations and customer sites as needed. * Compliance: Understand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policies. * Safety: Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policies and procedures. * Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required to support team success. * Security Clearance: Obtain and retain a government security clearance at the required level. Qualifications: Required: * Experience: 8 years of related experience in the development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wireless communications systems. * Adaptability: Strong flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment with frequently changing opportunities. * Physical Ability: Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds. * Attention to Detail: Strong detail orientation. * Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills. * Travel: A valid driver's license is required for off-site travel. * Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills. * Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other required software. * Independence: Ability to work under minimal supervision and adapt to change. * Team Player: Strong teamwork skills. Education and Training: * Minimum: Associate's degree in a related technical field and 6 - 8 years of related technical experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
