RoleWork with product management & design engineering to develop test plans based on system/software specifications, requirements, and conopsWork with project management to develop and execute software product release schedulesExecute developed test plans using a combination of manual and automated system & subsystem testingDevelop new tests and capabilities within the QA functionContinuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Provide clear, thorough, and accurate reporting of test results, highlighting any issues discovered during testing.Collaborate with design engineers to identify root causes and resolve performance issuesHelp to institute and improve engineering best practices using industry experience following a quality-driven stage gate processMentor and develop more-junior quality engineers You5-10 years of experience as an SQA or software systems engineer for complex network-enabled IoT hardware devices and web applicationsProficient in scripting languages such as python, golang, bashProficient with monitoring and test tools such as Mezmo, Postman, and MetabaseExperience using AWS services including S3, Lambda, RDS, AmplifyExperience with software QA automation, building software test automation infrastructure & processesExperience with bug tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, etcExperience working with engineering and product teams to capture, triage, and review bug reportsExperience mentoring other QA engineersFamiliar with hardware V&V testingSolid analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and communication/presentation skillsProficiency in test development, including creating test plans, test cases and test scripts.Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
