DescriptionThe award winning Grandover Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel is currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our Resort guests. Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms under supervision of the Executive Housekeeper.Work hours: 8:30am - Inspections finished Open availability and weekend required The Housekeeping Supervisor promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.Job Description Lead, train and supervise Room Attendants and House Persons at the Resort to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.Assess product inventory, assign special projects for cleaning and inspect rooms for cleanliness and quality.Verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms to Resort Management and Front Desk Personnel.Monitor work schedules, lost and found program, stock rooms and carts and designated inventories.Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas.Perform Room Attendant, Laundry Attendant and/or House Person duties, as needed.Assist in performance evaluations of Room Attendant, and/or House Person, as needed.Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.Any other duties assigned by management.Inspect at least 60 rooms per day, focusing on room attendants.Written inspections/issues are to be completed on room attendants.Ensure room attendants have needed materialsRequirementsJob RequirementsTwo-year experience as a room attendant required, One year experience in a supervisory role preferred.Work experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeper (Periodically clean rooms if needed).Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.Good physical health and stamina.Flexibility to work weekends.Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards,Ability to follow instructions.Detail-oriented.Professional attitude, motivated.Previous hotel-related experience preferred.Benefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision InsurancePet InsuranceDisability InsurancePaid Time Off401(k) with employer matchEmployee cafeteriaUniforms providedHotel Discount ProgramEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramKoury Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
