Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Work ShiftsNo Weekends9:00 A.M - 5:00 P.MDuties & ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Associate Executive Director of Public Affairs & Community Relations, with wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment, the Associate Director of Multimedia leads Bellevue Hospital's visual and digital storytelling strategy. This role manages the development, production, and distribution of multimedia content (including photography, video, graphics, and digital publications) to enhance Bellevue's visibility, reputation, and public engagement.Drive Bellevue's social media growth across all platforms by increasing followers, engagement, and reach through a data-informed content strategy and targeted campaigns.Manage Bellevue's digital presence across Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms, ensuring active, timely, and authentic engagement with diverse audiences.Write, edit, and curate compelling posts, stories, and short-form articles that spotlighting staff achievements, patient experiences, community programs, and clinical innovations.Use LinkedIn strategically to elevate Bellevue's professional voice, sharing thought leadership, milestones, and recruitment stories to strengthen reputation and attract talent.Develop storytelling campaigns that connect Bellevue's mission, values, and community impact into cohesive, emotionally resonant narratives.Monitor engagement metrics, social trends, and audience insights to evaluate campaign performance and refine content strategy for continuous improvement.Build collaborations with influencers, partner organizations, and media outlets to extend Bellevue's online reach and visibility.Lead Bellevue's multimedia strategy, integrating video, photography, design, and digital storytelling to amplify institutional priorities and brand identity.Produce, film, and edit original multimedia content that highlights hospital programs, staff stories, patient care innovations, and community partnerships.Oversee the creative direction of Bellevue's digital magazine, storytelling series, and major campaigns to ensure content is visually compelling, accessible, and aligned with NYC Health + Hospitals' standards.Design digital and print materials, including infographics, newsletters, event collateral, and campaign visuals, for use across internal and external platforms.Develop creative concepts and content packages for key initiatives, hospital-wide events, and system campaigns that align with Bellevue's short and long-term goals.Oversee multimedia production schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest creative standard.Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications1. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Science, Social Work, Public Health or a related discipline; and three (3) years of professional experience in community relations, community organization, public health and/or social services in a public or private setting, of which one (1) year must have been in an administrative, supervisory or managerial capacity; or2.
