Big Night Live - Video Technician

DescriptionAs a Video Technician, a typical day might include the following: Operating Resolume and other video playback tools to support live shows and events Assisting with video routing via software and hardware (e.g., HDMI, capture cards, switchers) Collaborating with lighting, audio, and stage teams to ensure seamless multimedia integration Setting up, testing, and troubleshooting video components before, during, and after events Maintaining clear communication with artists, VJs, and production teams Adapting quickly to schedule changes and diverse production needs Supporting live shows, private events, video checks, and tech setups as needed Other duties as assignedRequirementsThis job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:At least 1 year previous experience in live event productionFoundational knowledge of Resolume, including clip triggering, layer mixing, and basic compositionsUnderstanding of video signal flow and routing (HDMI, SDI, switchers, capture devices)Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and production workflowsDependable team player with excellent collaboration and communication skillsMust have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with other VJ or media server software a plusFamiliarity with projection mapping or LED wall systems a plusFlexible availability, especially on weekends, with potential weekday shiftsInterest in live music, visual performance, and/or creative production requiredPhysical Demands / Work Environment / HoursThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
