Production Assistant

Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will assist in data entry, production scheduling, and general production tasks to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output.Duties Assist in preparing, updating, and tracking master production schedules (annual, monthly, and weekly) based on customer demand, inventory levels, and material availability. Support production readiness by verifying material, packaging, and capacity alignment prior to production runs. Maintain accurate material master data, product specifications, routing information, and version control within the ERP system (e.g., SAP). Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for multiple batch sizes, ensuring consistency between ERP systems and controlled Excel files. Monitor usage of production consumables and packaging materials, identify abnormal variances, and support corrective actions. Act as a coordination point between production, warehouse, and QA to ensure timely material flow and production execution. Support Lean Manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives through data collection, tracking, and basic analysis. Assist with documentation accuracy to support cGMP compliance, internal audits, and operational reviews. Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and planning reliability. QualificationsEducation & Work Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field preferred Working & Training Experience 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, or supply chain preferred Experience in dietary supplements, pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing is a strong plus Skills & Personality: Strong organizational and time management skills Basic understanding of production planning and material flow Bilingual in English & Chinese a plus
