JanitorThe Janitor will keep all buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish, performing routine maintenance activities and notifying management of need for repairs. Currently accepting applications for both Day Shift and Evening Shift positions.The following duties listed are required but not limited to: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming them. Clean restrooms and break room throughout the day or evening. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Mix water and cleaning agents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Clean equipment using solvents and rags. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners. Move heavy equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building and equipment operating systems. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Keep parking lots clean and pick up trash around outside perimeter of facility. Operate a forklift Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
