DIRECT HIRE | REGISTERED ARCHITECT, PLAN EXAMINER | Phoenix, AZOur client, a leader in innovative building solutions, seeks a talented Registered Architect to join their growing team in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers a chance to collaborate with engineers, production specialists, and clients to design practical, code-compliant, and creative building solutions.Salary: $110,000 - $150,000/year, based on experienceFull benefits package, including health insurance, HSA, 401(k), paid time off, holidaysLead a team of 3-6 in-house Designers, office-based positionSeeking a Registered Architect (Arizona), California Registration is a plus!Key Responsibilities: Review, mark-up, and approve full sets of architectural, structural, MEP, and plumbing plans for buildingsOptimize designs for fabrication, transport, and cost efficiencySecure state and third-party approvals nationwideMentor 3-6 corporate designers and share building-code expertise company-wideCollaborate daily with clients, engineers, plants, estimators, and dealersQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and an active Registered Architect license (Arizona required; willingness to pursue licensure in additional states is a plus).NCARB certificate with portfolio of completed projectsDemonstrated experience in building design, including life safety egress plans, calculations, and basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Expert-level Revit, AutoCAD 3D, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Adobe InDesignStrong working knowledge of IBC/IRC, IMC, IPC, IECExcellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent English required; Spanish proficiency is a bonus) and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
