Job Title: Manual Mill & Lathe Machinist Location: Twinsburg, OH Pay: $27–$33/hour (based on experience) Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional Saturdays) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire   Join a Precision-Driven Manufacturing Team Nesco Resource is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Twinsburg, OH to hire an experienced Manual Machinist. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, takes pride in precision work, and thrives in a fast-paced job shop environment. You’ll work on high-quality, custom components using manual equipment, with consistent hours and strong long-term potential.   What You’ll Do Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including: Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM) Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL) Manual lathes and mills Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sample parts to manufacture components to spec Perform machine setups based on part configuration and job requirements Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including routine machine care Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and industry standards   What You Bring 2+ years of experience with manual mill and lathe setup and operation Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills Solid math skills and mechanical aptitude High attention to detail with a commitment to precision and quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced job shop setting Overhead crane experience (preferred) High school diploma or GED (required) Ability to pass pre-employment screening   Why This Opportunity?
