Job Title : Desktop support /Technical support  Location : Detroit MI 48226 Duration : 6 Months Location: Detroit, MI 48226 Salary Range: $25 Competitive and commensurate with experience Introduction We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Help Desk professional. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth technical operations and providing excellent support to our users. The position is based in Detroit, MI, and is a 6-month contract opportunity. Required Skills & Qualifications Associate degree in a technological curriculum or five years of related experience combined with a technical certification. Ability to perform preventive maintenance on computer hardware, peripherals, and software. Ability to analyze and resolve computer problems. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications. Knowledge of problem tracking procedures and problem tracking software. Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Perform problem-solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems such as PCs and printers for department users. Provide technical assistance and maintenance support to departmental and end-users, both hands-on and via telephone remotely. Document problem resolution steps performed in the call tracking system and escalate issues to a higher level when necessary.
