Job Title: Woodworker / Saw Cutter Machine Operator Schedule: 6:00 AM 5:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Woodworker / Saw Cutter Machine Operator to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating a saw cutting machine ( not a hand saw), performing precise measurements, and ensuring high-quality output of wood components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinetry, millwork, or carpentry and be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor saw cutting machinery to produce wood components to specification Read and interpret tape measurements and conversion tables accurately Perform basic programming related to machine operation Measure, cut, and verify materials to ensure precision and quality standards Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy and defects Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow production schedules and meet output targets Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or carpentry Experience operating cutting machinery (not hand tools) Strong ability to read a tape measure accurately Basic math skills, including conversion calculations Ability to stand for long periods throughout the workday Must be comfortable working with large machinery and materials Preferred Qualifications Experience with cabinetry production Basic machine programming experience Strong attention to detail and quality control Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and handle materials as needed Must be able to safely operate production equipment Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing setting and requires working extended hours based on workload demands.
