Steward

The Steward is responsible for performing F&B inventory duties by receiving and storing of all food, supplies, and necessary materials for the kitchen department. Provides internal guest service by effectively communicating with kitchen staff to ensure daily orders are fulfilled for various department, assists with daily inventory and maintains an organized and sanitary storage area. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.Starting wage is $18.80/hr and increases to $19.70/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.Education:High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredExperience & Requirements:One year experience in a high volume full service restaurantMust be able to handle receiving food, supplies and materials for the kitchen and take daily inventoryKnowledge of proper food storage procedures requiredMust have valid Washington State food handler's cardPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hoursThe ability to lift up to 40 poundsMobility to climb stairs on a routine basisMust be able to tolerate a smoke filled environmentAdditional Requirements:Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidaysAll applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
