Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong skills in mechanical design, technical drawings, and CNC machining. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between engineering design and hands-on manufacturing, ensuring that products move smoothly from concept to production.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for new and existing productsCreate, interpret, and revise engineering drawings and models (GD and T experience preferred)Work with design engineering to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and qualityProgram, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machines (milling, turning, or multi-axis depending on facility)Improve machining strategies, tooling selection, and fixture designLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issuesSupport continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six SigmaTrain production staff on processes, best practices, and equipment useAssist with equipment selection, workflow optimization, and maintenance planningParticipate in prototype builds and transition designs into full productionQualificationsBS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Strong proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)Experience with CNC programming (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, etc.)Solid understanding of machining principles, materials, tolerances, and GD and TExperience designing fixtures, tooling, or jigsAbility to read and create complex technical drawingsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience in a production or high mix/low volume environment is a plusBenefits Vacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
