Accounts Receivable Clerk (Temporary possibly Temp-to-Hire)?? Lake Forest, CA?? $22-$27 per hourOur educational services client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support payment verification and reconciliation across 60 locations. This role is focused on auditing and accuracy-there is no collections component.Key ResponsibilitiesAudit daily and periodic payment batches for accuracy and completenessMatch AR system entries and receipts against:Deposit slipsCredit card receiptsBank depositsVerify all payments accepted at field locations are properly documented and depositedRequest missing or unsubmitted payment batches from field teams as neededResearch and resolve discrepancies between recorded payments and bank depositsMaintain organized audit documentation and reconciliation reports using ExcelDetail-focused and process-drivenCollaborative with internal teamsQualifications:Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting - preferredPrior experience in Accounts Receivable, payment processing, or audit support - preferredStrong Excel skills (sorting, filtering, reconciliations)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresExperience working in a multi-site or transactional environment is a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
