DescriptionOVERVIEWiTech AG is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a federal program by designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions in a secure, scalable, and compliant environment. This role serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for building high-quality platform functionality, developing user-facing portals, and supporting core ServiceNow capabilities aligned to mission and business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, deep familiarity with portal technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile and SAFe delivery environments. This role requires a developer who can translate requirements into maintainable, performant ServiceNow solutions while adhering to federal standards and best practices.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions to support federal program requirementsBuild and maintain custom applications, workflows, business rules, and UI policiesDevelop and enhance ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM and CMDB functionalityDesign, develop, and support ServiceNow portals and web-based user experiences, including Service Portal and/or UI BuilderCollaborate with ServiceNow Architects to implement scalable, standards-based solutionsParticipate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practicesSupport platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuningTroubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow defects and production issuesEnsure configurations and customizations align with federal security and compliance requirementsContribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the teamOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experienceStrong experience developing custom ServiceNow applications and platform configurationsProficiency with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environmentsEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCIS - ITSM certificationSECURITY CLEARANCEAbility to obtain and maintain a Public TrustPursuant to government contracts, US Citizenship is requirediTech AG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
