Room Cleaner 3rd Shift

Under the direction of the Manager/ supervisor the Room Cleaner is responsible for the constant upkeep and cleaning of the machinery and rooms.Responsibilities:Washes the room and the machines inside the room.Ensures that residual material is removed, and that the equipment/walls/ceilings/floors are thoroughly cleaned.Rinses washed equipment thoroughly to remove soap residue.Document the cleaning process in the log books, as required.Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance.Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and/or cGMP guidelines.Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.Additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job trainingHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredPrior manufacturing experience preferredAbility to write simple correspondenceAbility to write simple correspondence in EnglishBi-lingual is a plusBasic mathematical skillsPhysical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environmentMust be able to lift 50lbsMust be able to stand for 8 hoursMust be able to work in a physically challenging environmentWe proudly offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Company Match, Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events, Summer Picnic, Festive Packages, Holiday Celebrations, and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011, Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Island's Top Workplaces Award 6 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
