We are partnering with a well-established, growing company in the construction and environmental services space seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & AP Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance.You will work closely with leadership and play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy and financial operations run smoothly.?? Key ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly union payroll for 50-120 employees across multiple projectsPrepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with prevailing wage lawsSubmit reports through platforms such as SP tracker and other government systemsEnsure compliance with DIR, Caltrans, and federal regulationsManage accounts payable, including invoice matching and vendor paymentsAssist with job costing, data entry, and general ledger supportSupport the Controller with month-end close activitiesUtilize internal systems and reporting tools, including iPad-based and custom software? Qualifications2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in construction or government contractingStrong knowledge of certified payroll and prevailing wage (required)Experience with union payroll is a plusBackground in accounts payableTech-savvy and comfortable learning new systemsHighly detail-oriented and organizedStrong communication skills and team mindsetAble to work onsite (this is not a remote role)??
