Own the Facility.Lithionics is entering an exciting new chapter-scaling operations, expanding capabilities, and transitioning into a new facility designed to support the next generation of advanced manufacturing. We're looking for a Facilities Transition & Operations Manager to lead this pivotal moment and then take ownership of the long-term performance of our new site.This is not a desk-bound facilities role. It's a hands-on, execution-driven leadership position for someone who knows how to turn plans into reality-coordinating trades, managing infrastructure, supporting manufacturing, and ensuring the facility is safe, compliant, and ready to perform from day one.If you enjoy being at the center of complex facility transitions and then optimizing operations for efficiency, reliability, and cost control, this role was built for you.What You'll DoLead the Facility Transition (Initial Phase)You will serve as the operational lead for Lithionics' facility relocation-owning the details that make the move successful and minimize disruption to manufacturing and operations.Plan and execute the facility transition, from readiness through production startupDevelop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategiesOversee building readiness: electrical distribution, utilities, compressed air, HVAC, safety systems, and infrastructure activationCoordinate closely with Manufacturing Engineering on equipment moves, electrical drops, utility routing, and layout adjustmentsManage contractors and third-party service providers across all tradesEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, building code, and regulatory requirementsCommunicate progress, risks, costs, and decision points clearly to leadershipOwn Facilities Operations (Post-Move & Ongoing)Once the transition is complete, you'll step into a Facilities Manager role, ensuring the new facility runs safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.Manage day-to-day operation of facility systems, utilities, and groundsDevelop and manage facility and utility budgets; drive cost-reduction initiativesImplement and continuously improve preventive maintenance programsLead contractor and vendor selection, scope definition, and performance managementPartner with EH&S to maintain a safe, compliant working environmentSupport Manufacturing Engineering with ongoing facility modifications and improvementsLead facility-focused Lean and 5S initiatives related to utilities, workflows, energy efficiency, and space optimizationMaintain audit, inspection, and certification readinessLead Through Influence & ExecutionDirect and coordinate contractors and service providers to ensure safe, high-quality executionEnforce safety policies and ensure contractor complianceMaintain facility documentation, permits, contracts, and compliance recordsWhat You BringExperience & EducationBachelor's degree in industrial engineering, facilities management, or a related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in facilities management, plant operations, or major facility projectsProven experience leading complex facility transitions, relocations, or large-scale upgradesTechnical StrengthStrong electrical background in industrial or manufacturing environmentsExperience with power distribution, equipment hookups, and electrical contractor coordinationWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and mechanical systemsSolid understanding of building codes, NEC, and NFPA standardsJourneyman Electrician certification is a plus (not required)How You WorkHighly organized, execution-focused, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesConfident working independently while collaborating across Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, EH&S, and ITStrong communicator with attention to detail and a bias for actionFamiliarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologiesWhy Lithionics?At Lithionics, you won't just maintain a facility-you'll shape it.
