Position: Public Relations & Events Professional Location: Scottsdale / Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - primarily remote with local meetings & events) Compensation: Salary TBD based on experience About the Role: A dynamic new business venture in the arts and entertainment space is seeking a creative, connected, and entrepreneurial Public Relations professional to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the early stages of a growing project that blends art, entertainment, and real estate investments - with future expansion on the horizon. The ideal candidate will be based in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, bring strong local and industry connections, and thrive in a role that combines PR, event coordination, and relationship management. You'll be working closely with the founder - an investor in the entertainment and art world - to shape the brand's public image, organize creative events, and connect with artists, agents, and media. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute PR strategies to promote new ventures, events, and partnerships. Build and maintain relationships with media, agents, artists, and local entertainment contacts. Coordinate and manage events such as art shows, stand-up comedy nights, and private gatherings. Bring together and manage creative teams for gallery events or entertainment projects. Support branding and storytelling efforts across digital and traditional platforms. Oversee light social media management to align with PR and event goals (not the primary focus). Collaborate with leadership on long-term marketing and visibility strategies. Adapt and grow with the business as it transitions from start-up phase to full-scale operations. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in public relations, event management, or entertainment/media relations. Strong connections or familiarity with the arts and entertainment world (agents, talent, venues, etc.). Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills. Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently. Local to the Scottsdale/Phoenix area and available for in-person meetings and events. Flexible, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a start-up environment without a formal office space.
