NSC Staffing has an immediate openings for a Machine Shop Helper in Mansfield, Texas! -Background friendly-Position Overview: The Machine Shop Helper supports the daily operations of the metal fabrication shop by assisting machinists, welders, and other production staff. This role involves preparing materials, operating basic shop tools, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and helping ensure projects are completed efficiently and to quality standards. It's an excellent entry-level position for individuals interested in developing skills in metalworking and fabrication. Key Responsibilities: Assist machinists and fabricators with setup, operation, and maintenance of shop equipment (mills saws, grinders, etc.) Prepare raw materials for production - deburring, cleaning, and labeling as required Load and unload materials and finished parts from machines and work areas Perform basic measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet specifications Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards Dispose of scrap and recyclable material properly Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures Support other team members and perform additional duties as assigned NSC Staffing values our employees and is committed to offering meaningful employment in safe workplace conditions.
