An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings and healthcare environments. This full-time role offers a chance to apply your skills in both school and home health settings, supporting children and young adults in their development and functional independence. Location: Coachella, CA (travel required from Riverside, CA) Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year Responsibilities include: Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students within school settings and during home health visits Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized therapy plans Conducting assessments to determine students' needs and progress toward therapy goals Providing consultation to school staff and families to promote supportive learning and home environments Documenting therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports in compliance with regulatory standards Desired qualifications and experience: Valid Occupational Therapist license and relevant certifications Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy, including knowledge of the educational environment and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Familiarity with home health therapy practices and healthcare settings Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability and willingness to travel between Riverside and Coachella, CA as required This role offers a meaningful opportunity to enhance students' functional capabilities while balancing diverse clinical environments.
