Hand Welder/Equipment Operator-Strive Fabrication

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments is seeking a full-time Hand Welder/Equipment Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift.This position is responsible for hand welding product and operating all other fabrication equipment in the cell including monitoring the auto bender machines. In addition, individuals in this role will provide direction to fabrication cell technicians. This position is also responsible for: Successfully hand weld products based upon production schedule needs Maintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properly Operate fabrication equipment in the cell such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill Presses, and Auto Benders Operate tools required in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area Operating, editing and programming tube or wire bending equipment in the cell Follow production schedules, determine what should run and huddle with the team Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Leadership experience/training helpful (but not required). Value Added Skills: Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required Team Player Computer knowledge Willingness to learn Ability to train on any shift Positive Attitude Physical Requirements: Working in areas where it can get warm Working in a smoke free environment Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
