Job Title: Next Gen. CoordinatorDepartment/Ministry: Ministry - Next Gen.Reports To: Next Gen. PastorFLSA Status: Full-Time Non-ExemptPosition Summary: The Next Gen. Coordinator provides operational leadership and ministry coordination/support to the Next Gen. ministry area of Students. This role involves working closely with the Next Gen. Pastor in providing daily support of administrative tasks, planning, executing events, and weekly services. This position does not supervise paid staff but provides functional leadership to volunteers serving in the Student Ministry.We want you to feel welcomed and valued as a part of the Church360 staff, having fun doing what God has called you to do here. We are committed to:Reaching the lostStriving for excellence in everything we doBuilding up disciples who can impact the world for ChristEncouraging men and women to commit themselves to full-time Christian serviceEnsuring all our actives support the ministry of Church360Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Administrative:Provide all administrative support to the Next Gen. Pastor, including team meetings, trainings, events, calendaring, database management, scheduling, etc.Assist the Next Gen. - Student Ministry with ministry budgets and purchase orders.Assist in ordering and purchasing supplies needed for Student Ministry programs and services.Handling all communications efforts to parents and students via email, newsletters, text message (via rock 55757), etc.Volunteer Management:Assist the Next Gen. - Student Ministry team in recruiting volunteers, guiding them through the onboarding and background check process, and through fully placing them in roles that align with their gifts, availability, and spiritual maturity.Assist with the development and implementation of ongoing training that clarifies vision, expectations, and best practices, ensuring volunteers are confident, prepared, and aligned with the mission and values of Church360.Coordinate and maintain a "Volunteer Lounge" for mid-week and weekend volunteers.Create and coordinate volunteer schedules, ensure all environments are adequately staffed, and implement strategies that promote volunteer retention, sustainability, and long-term engagement.Assist in providing encouragement, communication, and care to volunteers, fostering healthy relationships, addressing concerns promptly, and helping volunteers feel known, valued, and supported.Mid-Week & Weekend Student Experience:Coordinate the physical and relational environment of all Next Gen. Student Ministry spaces to ensure they are clean, safe, inclusive, and intentionally designed to help every student feel comfortable, valued, and at home.Help design and coordinate a clear, warm, and engaging first-time student experience that helps students feel seen, safe, and excited to return from the moment they arrive.Coordinate check-in procedures, guest identification, follow-up workflows, and communication systems to ensure every first-time student is properly tracked and thoughtfully followed up with.Train and support volunteers to intentionally notice, welcome, and connect with first-time students, modeling hospitality and helping volunteers understand their role in creating a culture of belonging.Qualifications:Knowledge and Skills:Strong administrative and organizational skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to recruit, develop, and motivate a team.Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and integrity.Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Flexible, receptive to direction and efficient at managing multiple projects.Self-motivated and detailed-oriented.Education and Experience:Preferably an associate's degree (A.A.) or bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a two-year or four-year college or university, or two or more years related experience, and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods.Proficiency in typing and using office equipment (e.g. printers, scanners, etc.)Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.Ability to work nights and weekend, as required.Employment at Will:All employees of Church360 are at-will and are such as free to resign at any time without reason.
