Renowned for our quality craftsmanship and strong engineering base, we continue to be selected over the international competition with systems installed on 6 continents.Potential employment opportunities exist for:Brake Press OperatorJob Duties: Operate Accurpress CNC brake press Set dies and create load cutting programs for accurate forming of parts Interpret and follow shop drawings & use measuring tools to produce constant quality parts Perform basic machine maintenance and keep a clean and organized work area Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment Work collaboratively and demonstrate consistent reliability Required to learn and operate Mitsubishi laser cutting machine as part of this position Must be prepared to work in other areas and departments in the facility if asked to do so Experience Required: 1-2 years of hands-on experience with metal forming brake press equipment Accurpress experience preferred Strong ability to read and interpret technical/shop drawings Proven attention to detail and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork skills Must be enthusiastic, flexible, punctual and ready to learn new skills Benefits: 70% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance Optional coverage for spouses and dependents 10 paid public holidays per year Paid time off Supportive team environment with opportunities for skill development Location: Gaffney, SC Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Position: Full-time Wage: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour Experience: 1-2 years operating brake press machinery Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in metal fabrication or manufacturing preferredComputer access available at Spartanburg SC Works office -111 Tiffany Park Circle, Gaffney, SC 29341 or your nearest SC Works office Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. An Equal Opportunity EmployerPlease include a resume with your application.
