Company Overview Gexpro Services is a world-class Supply Chain Services outsource provider, specializing in developing and managing production inventory management programs. Our managed inventory programs are designed to support manufacturing OEM's with their engineered production material specifications, fulfillment, and quality requirements. Internship Overview and Essential Responsibilities: Gexpro Services is seeking upcoming college graduates to participate work as an Intern in one of our six different business verticals. Interns will be assigned to a Gexpro Services Branch with assignments that will include but not be limited to the warehouse, inside sales, program management, quality, sourcing, supply chain solutions, and operations. All internships are value add and provide participants with the opportunity to build a skill set that will be impactful to their career as well as the business. Intern responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Gain experience with the day-to-day operations of the business Gain experience managing projects to supporting functional teams (operations, quality, sourcing, etc.), from beginning to end and contribute to Gexpro Services' bottom lineLearn and ensure completion and maintenance of operational documents and reports such as sales reports, shipping documents, tickets, price sheets and catalogsGather marketing information regarding customers, competitors, and pricingData entry into the ERP systemProvide support to sales team - expediting open orders with vendors and simple PO data entryOther duties as assignedInternship Skills, Knowledge, and EducationEnrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management or a similar program is requiredStrong interest in Supply Chain; proven ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentDemonstrated experience with or interest in Supply Chain is preferred Change management and innovative mindset, demonstrated problem solving abilityEnthusiasm for learning and commitment to career developmentVersatility, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity Detail oriented, excellent follow through Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership, analytical, problem solving & sound decision-making skills are required.
