Physician Coding Educator

Requirements: CPC (AAPC) OR CCS / CCS-P (AHIMA) required Strong Professional Fee coding experience (physician, ASC, surgical, outpatient settings) Proven experience delivering physician-facing education and training Hands-on experience with chart reviews and coding accuracy audits Ability to analyze coding trends, variances, and risk areas Experience improving documentation quality and coding consistency Strong communication skills; able to confidently engage with physicians and leadership Ability to work independently while collaborating with coding, CDI, and revenue cycle teams Preferred: CDEO or CDIP certification Bachelor’s degree Experience supporting enterprise-wide coding education or audit initiatives What can you expect from your Norwood experience?
