Job Details Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527 (Finger Lakes area) Employment Type: Travel LPN, Part-Time Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care Shift: Evening shifts (8 hours each), 2-3 shifts per week - Evening shift LPN Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as needed Contract Duration: 14 weeks (April 14, 2026 - July 18, 2026) Orientation: Must be available for full shift orientation on Tuesday/Thursday Estimated Weekly Salary: $1450-$1520/week Qualifications / Job Requirements Active New York LPN licensure (required) BLS certification (AHA or RQI only) Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care or CNA capacity - long-term care nursing experience preferred High School Diploma or GED Responsibilities (LPN Long-Term Care) Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care Maintain a safe and comfortable environment, promptly responding to call lights and alarms Support resident nutritional needs, including meal delivery, tray preparation, and feeding Assist with rehabilitative needs such as range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices Document care and observations per protocol Report resident rights, refusals, concerns, and changes in status to the Charge Nurse Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures Experience the warmth and hospitality of Penn Yan while advancing your nursing career in a supportive long-term care environment.
