Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Psychiatric Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health Total Gross Pay: $2,134.00 Shift: Days, 7a-7p (no block scheduling) Location: Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital Position Summary Role: RN - Behavioral Health Openings: 5 Guaranteed Hours: 36/week Weekends: Every other weekend Call: None Float: Yes, across all units Certifications: BLS Experience: 1 year Education: Associate's degree (minimum) Scrubs: Blue Unit Overview Beds: 104 across 5 units 2 Adult units (24 beds each) Geriatric (24 beds) Pediatric ages 5-17 (12 beds) Ratios: ~1:8 (lower for geri/peds) EHR: Cerner Equipment: None Supervision: Shift supervisors Patient Population Adults, geriatrics, pediatrics (5-17) Required Skills RN inpatient experience Active RN license Preferred Skills Behavioral health experience Common Diagnoses Schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, anxiety Role Expectations Provide direct/indirect care using the nursing process Develop and update care plans Communicate patient condition changes Participate in discharge planning WHY JUDGE HEALTHCARE?
