Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at a middle school in Plymouth, MI, with a full-time schedule from April 15 through the end of the school year. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:15 AM to 3:09 PM, supporting approximately 57 students. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services, collaborating closely with an on-site SLP to assist with testing, and supporting students in three Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms. Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is a valuable asset in this role. Qualifications:Hold a valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language PathologistPrior experience working with school-aged children, especially middle school studentsFamiliarity with ASD student needs and AAC technologyStrong assessment and therapy planning skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with other professionals and educational staff Responsibilities:Deliver individualized speech and language therapy interventions to students across various needsConduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plansWork closely with another SLP to support testing and evaluationsMaintain detailed documentation and progress reportsParticipate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and planning This position offers the experience of supporting a diverse student population in a school setting with dedicated colleagues and a focus on positive student outcomes.
