Speech Language Pathologist in Des Plaines, IL

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a specialized education setting in Des Plaines, IL, providing services during the Extended School Year (ESY). This role offers a unique opportunity to work with students from early childhood through 12th grade in a contract position running from June 15, 2026, to July 26, 2026. Responsibilities include delivering speech-language therapy in-person, Monday through Thursday, with scheduled hours from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., except for the first and last days, which conclude at 3:15 p.m. The focus will be on supporting students' communication needs in the school setting, emphasizing individualized strategies to promote progress across a variety of speech and language disorders.
