Position SummaryThe Shipping Driver is responsible for supporting warehouse and shipping operations, including the accurate picking, staging, loading, and transportation of finished goods. This role ensures timely and safe delivery of products while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.This position plays a critical role in ensuring on-time shipments, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse efficiency.Responsibilities:Load, transport, and deliver finished goods safely and on time in accordance with company schedules Verify shipments for accuracy, including product counts, documentation, and condition prior to departure Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptlyEnsure all outbound pallets meet quality standards, including six-point pallet inspectionsPick, pull, and stage finished goods according to sales orders and shipping schedules Utilize warehouse systems (WMS/Business Central) to manage pick tickets and shipment documentation Stage orders using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to ensure proper inventory rotationCheck in drivers and assist with loading and unloading activities as needed Follow all shipping and loading safety procedures (wheel chocks, glad lock, safety cones, trailer verification) Maintain clean, organized warehouse areas, including staging lanes and dock areas Work closely with production and warehouse teams to maximize storage and shipping efficiencyAssist with cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accuracy Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shipment issues to management immediatelyFollow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (safety glasses, safety vest, etc.) Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and maintain certification Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of equipment, report wear and tear or damage Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standardsQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred 2+ years of warehouse and/or delivery driving experience, preferably in food manufacturing or CPG Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred if applicable) Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification Experience with WMS LI-DNICalbee North America is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to a policy of non-discrimination in employment on the basis of race, color, age, sex, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, citizenship, ancestry, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or familial status or any other legally protected status.
