Position SummaryOur client, a law firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to support attorneys in the Trust & Estates and Real Estate practice groups. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of trust administration, estate planning, and real estate transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesTrust & Estates SupportAssist attorneys with trust administration, including asset inventory, valuation, and distribution>Prepare estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives>Draft probate court filings and supporting documentation>Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions regarding trust and estate matters>Maintain and organize client files, both physical and electronic>Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court and statutory requirements>Real Estate SupportAssist with preparation and review of real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, deeds, and closing documents>Coordinate due diligence processes, including title review and obtaining necessary reports (e.g., title, escrow, and surveys)>Prepare closing binders and ensure proper execution and recording of documents>Communicate with escrow officers, title companies, lenders, and clients to facilitate transactions>Conduct basic legal research related to real estate matters>QualificationsBachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred>Minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal experience in trust & estates and/or real estate law>Strong knowledge of probate procedures, trust administration, and real estate transactions>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems>Excellent written and verbal communication skills>Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management>Key CompetenciesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment>High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information>Strong client service orientation>Team-oriented with the ability to work independently>Compensation & BenefitsOur client offers a competitive compensation package designed to support employee well-being, professional growth, and work-life balance, including:Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance with multiple plan options, including PPO and HMO plans>Retirement Plans: 401(k) plan with firm contributions and/or matching to support long-term financial planning>Paid Time Off: Generous PTO policy including vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays>Bonus Opportunities: Eligibility for discretionary performance-based bonuses>Professional Development: Continuing education support, including reimbursement for CLE/paralegal certification courses and professional memberships>Wellness Programs: Employee wellness initiatives and access to mental health resources>Flexible Work Arrangements: Hybrid or flexible scheduling options>Life & Disability Insurance: Firm-paid basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage>Commuter Benefits: Pre-tax commuter programs where applicable>Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Confidential counseling and support services>Career Growth Opportunities: Exposure to sophisticated legal matters and a clear path for advancement within the firm>$120,000 - $145,000 a year#GHJJ #LI-SL1We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
