Quality Assurance Technician - 2nd Shift

Our client, a growing food manufacturer, is looking for a skilled QA Technician (2 nd shift) to join their team in Pomona, CA! Pay: $18-$20 per hour Location: Pomona, CA Schedule: 2pm - 10:30pm with OT Job type: 6-month contract- hire Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Technician plays a vital role in supporting production processes and maintaining product quality in a food manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for conducting inspections, audits, and quality checks; collecting and analyzing samples; investigating product complaints; and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Support production processes and remain accessible to production staff. Conduct quality checks, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with specifications. Collect, log, and retain product samples for testing and traceability. Investigate customer complaints and perform product inspections as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and retain samples per company policy. Ensure compliance with company quality policies, food safety standards, and applicable regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience. Strong knowledge of food safety programs and quality assurance principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential weekends or off-shifts. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in an additional language.
