Our culture of growth and empathy focuses on your long-term career development while valuing your unique skills and experiences. **Your role and responsibilities** The IBM Event Coordinator is responsible for delivering high impact marketing events that generate new sales opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and elevate IBM's presence across the ecosystem. This role supports joint go-to-market efforts by driving operational excellence, consistent execution, and seamless collaboration with IBM and Oracle stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Plan and execute events aligned to business objectives, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and scheduling. - Coordinate speaker participation, including customer speakers, and ensure alignment with IBM leadership and partnership priorities. - Manage registration, invitations, and event communications using Rain Focus, Marketo, and other internal tools. - Oversee creation and delivery of event materials such as booth assets, badges, giveaways, and collateral. - Track attendance, scan leads at conferences and ensure onsite readiness and vendor coordination. - Drive follow up activities, including reports for sales teams, thank you outreach, and post event communication campaigns. - Maintain accurate cost tracking, vendor records, and post event insights to improve future execution. Key Performance Indicators - Pipeline generated - Registrations and attendance - Revenue influenced by events This role can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. **Required technical and professional expertise** 2 years of experience managing/organizing events.
