Aircraft Mechanic (A&P Certificated)

Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned. This position reports directly to a Lead Mechanic. Position Responsibilities: * Performs maintenance and repairs in accordance with prescribed practices and procedures * Must have an A&P Certificate * Must have great attention to detail * Completes required paperwork as directed * Maintains clean shop and keeps organized as directed. * The fleet includes: 8 x Cessna 172's, 2 x Piper Singles (Warrior & Arrow), 2 x Piper Twins (Aztec & Apache), 1 x Cessna 421, 2 x Robinson Helicopters (R-22 &R-66) * Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting workplace hazards * Ensures compliance with all 14 CFR part 91/141 regulations Position qualifications required: * Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English * Previous Robinson Helicopter maintenance experience, R-66 preferred * Must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations * Must be able to work in confined spaces * Must be able to stand for long periods of time * Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft * Must be able to pass a company background and drug test Work Environment: * Flight-line and hangar at times in inclement weather * Workaround chemicals, solvents, and paints Vali, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
