Associate Technical Designer Fit

POSITION OVERVIEWThe Technical Design Manager is seeking an associate technical designer to supports the technical design team in developing and maintaining garment fit, construction, and quality standards from concept through production. This role assists in creating technical specifications, reviewing & prepping samples, and communicating with our external team and factories to ensure garments meet brand specifications.JOB EXPERIENCEExperience with fit sessions and sample evaluationKnowledge of grading and garment specifications.Software Experience in Adobe Illustrator, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software. Gerber Accumark is a plus.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or Apparel Development1-3 year's experience in technical designStrong knowledge of garment construction and pattern makingAbility to take accurate garment measurementsFamiliarity with Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM systemsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and organizational skillsEDUCATION REQUIREMENT4 year BA or BS college degree or equivalent experience is desiredBUSINESS HOURSHours of operation: Monday-Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
