Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for travel assignments in the Baltimore area, MD, serving a diverse school community. These roles require an active Maryland professional license and involve working across multiple school sites with students ranging from preschool through middle school. The opportunity includes both full-time and part-time positions with flexible scheduling. Locations and Schedule:Itinerant assignments at Community Preschool locations 5 days per weekMagnolia Elementary (3 days/week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days/week)Aberdeen Middle School and additional secondary school assignments (grades 68), including supervision responsibilities for Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)Positions available from January through June 2026, with extensions possible into Extended School Year (ESY) sessions in July Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to preschool, elementary, and middle school studentsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment dataCollaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student successSupervise and mentor SLPAs in delivering effective therapeutic interventionsMaintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies including background checks and credentialing requirements under House Bill 486 Qualifications:Current Maryland professional licensure as a Speech Language PathologistExperience working with school-aged children preferred, including supervision of SLPAsAbility to manage a caseload with itinerant and site-based responsibilitiesCompliance with district background checks, fingerprinting, and employment history reviews Benefits:Travel opportunities within the Baltimore, MD area, providing a dynamic and varied professional experienceStructured full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time (30 hours/week) scheduling optionsSupportive process including prescreen interviews to ensure a good match for candidates Interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to engage in the eligibility interview process, with flexible scheduling available.
