A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with SLP-CCC certification to serve students aged 12 to 22 with specific needs. This opportunity is located in Norristown, PA, within a school setting. The role involves providing therapeutic services to a caseload of approximately 35 students with diverse communication needs. Key Responsibilities:Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions.Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals.Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of adolescents and young adults.Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and ethical standards related to school-based SLP services. Qualifications:Must hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).Experience working with school-aged populations, preferably ages 12-22 with specific needs.Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students effectively.Strong communication and organizational skills. Position Details:Location: Norristown, PennsylvaniaContract type: Fixed-term, with a start date of April 1, 2026; end date to be determined.Schedule: 3 days per week, 24 to 30 hours per week.Age group served: 12 to 22 years old with specific needs.
