The opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time experienced Action Station Cooks to join our team at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. As an Action Station Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking made-to-order food items during hockey games and arena events. Hiring for the remainder of regular season and potential playoff games. While we can't guarantee hours this season, accepting a job offer will place you on our roster for playoffs and give you priority heading into next season. Prepare and cook menu items to order at an action/live station Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner Ensure consistency with food quality and presentation Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation  Assist with setup and breakdown of station before and after events More about you Must be at least 18 years old At least 2 years of previous cooking experience in a high volume or fast paced environment Strong multitasking and time management skills Ability to work nights, weekends, and event based schedules Physical requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat Standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment Shift details Days Evenings Evenings as needed Weekends Events Who we are Delaware North operates concessions, premium dining, and retail at Nationwide Arena since dating back to the year 2000.
