Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Provide speech-language pathology services in a school setting supporting students from kindergarten through eighth grade. This contract position offers a consistent schedule, allowing you to focus on delivering individualized care to help students develop essential communication skills. Location: Arvada, CO Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (32 hours/week) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch Contract Duration: August 13, 2026 May 20, 2027 Work Environment: Onsite only Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and implement speech-language therapy services for K-8 students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide a positive and encouraging environment to promote student communication development Qualifications: Valid SLP license (required) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working with school-age children in an educational setting Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapy techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits and Perks: Stable, contract position within a supportive school district Opportunity to work directly with a diverse student population Structured schedule allowing for work-life balance Collaborative environment with a dedicated team of professionals This role is perfect for a licensed speech-language pathologist dedicated to making a meaningful difference in students lives within a school community.
